This 6.25x48 stick features a golden dark brown wrapper with an oily fine sand paper texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and faint hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of medium-full chewy smoke showing notes of a creamy heavy musty earth with a bold pepper taste and bite followed by a vanilla on the long finish. The first third continues the perfect burn going down to medium body with the big earthiness tapering off to the finish replaced by a sweet cedar on the draw. The finish mellows the pepper a bit with a smooth retrohale and adds a touch of honey graham cracker. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes with perfect construction and a solid ash. Flavors change to a big caramel joining the cedar followed by a smoother finish dropping the pepper and mellowing the graham cracker. Ending at 1:30 the last third brought in just a touch of strength well below the big body, dropping the caramel. Body flavors are a deeper wood with a smooth earthy finish, plainer but bold.
