Mukbang literally means: "food broadcast" is a kind of show, which even looks like an asmr, as relaxing sounds are produced, in which someone broadcasts a video over the internet eating large amounts of food.

Usually done through a webcast, mukbang became popular in South Korea in the late 2000s. In its strands we have: Mukbang show, mukbang Brazil, korean mukbang, sushi mukbang and etcetera.
