Working as a State Department official, Hoh realized Obama’s surge was going to be a deadly failure. Hoh blew the whistle on the Obama propaganda campaign that the Iraq surge could be exported to Afghanistan. While Hoh was largely ignored, he gained key backing for his claims, which have now been proven correct.
