Biden’s Broken Promise: Americans Still Stranded in Afghanistan

During the chaotic withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, President Joe Biden vowed to keep troops in the country until all U.S. citizens were evacuated. The State Department, however, has said more than 100 Americans remain in Afghanistan after the last U.S. troops left Kabul on Tuesday.
"We did not get everyone out that we wanted to get out," Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of U.S Central Command, told reporters.
