We Will Never Forget

We heard the news. We read the headlines. It all seems like something out of a hellish nightmare. The world felt it with the impact of all it meant. For us here at home, the wound cut especially deep. These 13 men and women weren't just names or statistics. They were our brothers and sisters, our husbands and wives. They were friends. At a time when the news cycle moves at lightning speed, it's easy to get distracted, even forget. But at Texans for Convention of States, we will keep these warriors in our hearts and prayers. It’s not gratitude like a cliché from some random stranger, however sympathetic. It’s the truth, because we are just like you—Americans who are proud to call this nation home and will dedicate our lives and our sacred honor for liberty. We will not let their sacrifice be in vain. We will keep their memories alive, with their names in our hearts always.
