Cling to the light shining in your soul
darkness is seeking it to control
Vast is deception all around
roaring in without a sound

Cling to hope dangling by a thread
not believing everything I’ve read
Dissuasion deludes hungry readers
false information by fake leaders

Cling to discernment in these times
justice coming for many crimes
We are seeing evil rear it’s ugly head
some days are hard to get out of bed

Cling to love for it is stronger than fear
disdain looms most cavalier
Stay the course on the road ahead
watch the direction in which you head

Cling to faith in this dark hour
do not give away your power
There is more good out on this earth
take my word for what it’s worth
