Knowledge Sharing @ MHJ

Hello Construction World.

We wanted to share with you a wonderful opportunity we had to be a part of an open collaboration recently in Dubai. The event was held at our good friends MHJ Heavy Equipment Trading. The event was put on for people from over 10 countries while 6 other countries listened intently.

We showcased some material placing equipment to an audience that had never seen or heard of this type of equipment. As the gentleman from Ireland said, "I never even knew this existed." This networking event was amazing for this very reason. Sure people left knowing a lot more then when they arrived but it was not a sales event.

There were no pushy buy this and buy that. It was an event to offer information and knowledge freely. It was also an event to ask questions and openly discuss the issues the contractors face on a daily basis. As a Consultant this was so valuable for us. Essentially we solve problems for our customers and help them "Build a Better Project".

One of the biggest takeaways for us was the information we picked up from the other equipment being presented. We can offer this to so many of our customers around world. The second biggest takeaway for us was the introduction to more like minded people in the construction space facing the similar daily issues. Speaking and sharing of knowledge opens their world to specialised equipment but it also opens our world to them and the services they offer.

It was such a two way street and something I was on a high for a good couple of hours after the day. So happy and proud to be a part of such an event and I there will be many more I am sure. In the future we will bring you along for the ride and the great discussions we have.

I implore anyone who has the opportunity to host such an event to do it and do it straight away. The knowledge and sharing is amazing and will open your world in more ways than you know. We love the process and all the opportunities it brings.
