The Fight for Panjshir Valley: Both Sides Claim Victory

In this clip from COI #158, Will Porter updates the situation in Afghanistan's Panjshir Valley, where Tajik warlord Ahmad Massoud is attempting to rally anti-Taliban fighters and remnants of the defunct Afghan National Army under the banner of a newly created National Resistance Front (NRF). Panjshir is historically a bastion of anti-Taliban forces, and was one of the few regions the militant group was unable to fully pacify during its previous stint ruling the country in the 1990s.
