Season 2 Episode 3: Chinas Global Influence

On this episode of Pilsners and Politics, Benji and Vinny sit down with a familiar guest, Dr. Michael Allen. Dr. Allen is a veteran of the United States Army, a international businessman, a former member of the Department of Homeland Security, and political appointee by President Donald J. Trump.

This week the three discuss Chinas global influence. China is on track to becoming the worlds strongest economy and continues to push its One Belt One Road initiative. They use the Belt Road Initiative (BRI) to coerce and dictate smaller countries foreign and domestic policy. Is the BRI good or bad for America? What is it going to take for Americans to realize that China isn't our ally? Dr. Allen provides his expertise as an international businessman, and suggests how Americans can rally around a single cause.
