Taliban claim victory over resistance, call for unity

The Taliban have claimed victory over opposition forces in the Panjshir valley northeast of Kabul, declaring that it completed the Islamist group's takeover of Afghanistan and calling for national unity. Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid told a news conference that anyone who "takes the name of resistance and riots, without a doubt, he is the enemy of the whole country".
