Safety Net Poem by Azadeh Hadim

Azadeh Hadim

Safety Net

The world is your safety net my child.
So don't worry if you fall upon a branch.
And things feel as if they are too much to bare.
Don't worry if you get stardust in your hair.

I will scrap them all away.
I will lead them all astray.
I will be there to lift your angry brow, scrap the ashes off your knees, and inspire you if you please.
The world is your safety net my child.
Don't worry if your answer doesn't come.

If you come across an angry star and things become too much to bare.
I will be there with you if you please.

And once I am gone, the world will be there to guide you along the way so that you don't go astray.
Once you have the world, the universe, will be your guiding light.
It will capture you when you fall,
Nurture you above all.
The world is your safety net.
So don't ever forget. Safety Net

The world is your safety net my child.

The world is your safety net my child.
Don't worry if your answer doesn't come.

If you come across an angry star and things become too much to bare.

And once I am gone, the world will be there to guide you along the way so that you don't go astray.
Once you have the world, the universe, will be your guiding light.
It will capture you when you fall,
Nurture you above all.
The world is your safety net.
So don't ever forget.
