Peafowl could be a common title for three winged creature species within the genera Pavo and Afropavo of the family Phasianidae, the birds and their partners. Male peafowl are alluded to as peacocks, and female peafowl are alluded to as peahens, indeed in spite of the fact that peafowl of either sex are regularly alluded to colloquially as "peacocks". The two Asiatic species are the blue or Indian peafowl initially of the Indian subcontinent, and the green peafowl of Southeast Asia; the one African species is the Congo peafowl, local as it were to the Congo Bowl. Male peafowl are known for their piercing calls and their excessive plumage. The last mentioned is particularly conspicuous within the Asiatic species, which have an eye-spotted "tail" or "prepare" of incognito plumes, which they show as portion of a romance ritual.
