47 story steel-framed building collapsed symmetrically at free-fall acceleration into its own footprint. This building was not hit by a plane like WTC1 and WTC2 were. No jet fuel to weaken this building. Downward is the path of most resistance, which is why the only way a building can collapse at free-fall acceleration is if the lower supports progressively keep getting exploded out of the way of the falling structure.
