In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Misha the Founder, Guitarist, and Vocalist of Sri Metal band WHIRLWIND and Founder of Spirited Records - México.

Channa met Misha in the early 2000s when he attended Rock Company gigs in Sri Lanka. They have been friends ever since. Channa also attended WHIRLWIND’s comeback show at the Maelstrom 2016 in Colombo.

Misha discusses his early childhood, getting his first guitar, trying out Sinhalese songs of Clarence and Milton, and eventually forming WHIRLWIND. He also remembers how discovered Hard Rock, Metal which influence him to pursue Metal and to eventually create the SRI Metal sound.

Misha is a talented Music Director; Sound Engineer and he wears a lot of hats with his Spirited Project which goes beyond Metal and Whirlwind. He has toured the world with his High BPM sound projects and also started Spirited Records to support other up-and-coming artists.
