Raoul Pal Prediction For Cardano, XRP And Solana

When you start a bull market, you own Bitcoin, then you start weighing Ethereum. And what happens thereafter is that riskier assets start going up more. These are things that are earlier in their adoption cycle. Then comes the super-risky stuff like NFTs. That's how the bull market always works.

Initially, Raoul bought only Bitcoin. Then, he bought other coins like Cardano, Solana, and Polkadot because he wasn't sure which coins would outperform. So, he just did an equally-weighted basket which has gained by 150% since the beginning of the year. But now, he has decided to stop concentrating his bets on the ones that have been bullish since the last quarter. He first did the "idiot portfolio" by just picking anyone. But now, he's looking at the ones getting adoption.

Regarding Cardano, Raoul says having listened to Charles Hoskinson a few times, he likes the project, and he thinks it's interesting. He also wants to see more adoption. He believes the price will go up partly because there's a big community behind it. He owns some Cardano and is waiting to see if it's going to get more traction like people building stuff on it and the smart contract side. It may not be the biggest outperformer in this cycle, but if it survives it and continues to get adoption, it'll probably do very well in the next cycle, Raoul asserts.

When smart contracts come out, it's like that's what we've been waiting for. We know it's coming. It's like Ethereum 2.0. Many smart people are working on it.

XRP is a great risk-reward asset. Every single lawsuit has been a fine and a slap on the wrist because everybody is cleared up after the suit. So, after a fine, XRP is free to run. The worst case is that XRP will have a 50% downside. And the best case is 10x from here.
