#WhaleWatching is one of the things we like to do in California. You can do whale watching all year around right off the California coast, the perfect location is Monterey Bay because it's a marine sanctuary, the fish are abundant. First time we went with #SeaGoddess from Pacific Grove wharf, but it was long ways away. It took one hour each way from shore to the submarine canyon where whales hangout to feed. Second time we went with #SanctuaryCruisesWhaleWatching in Moss Landing, which is much closer to the whales, within 30 minutes boat ride we already saw whales! The whale watching operators in Pacific Grove have bigger boats, can accommodate more people, also more stable sailing on the sea. Sanctuary Cruises has smaller boat, but we like them the most because less people on the boat and you can get closer look of whales. That's why we were with them twice already! You need to take precaution for the boat ride, if you easily get sea sick. We have seen humpback whales, blue whales, dolphins, Mola Mola; we haven't seen orcas yet. We will keep going until we see them!
