No Fear

He shall say: "Hear, Israel: today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be faint-hearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them."
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
{Duet 20:3, 31:6, 31:18}

Joshua is one of my favorite old-testament characters. He is a servant of God, but a battle-hardened warrior who fought ferociously for God and for Israel. This is the man we need to envision ourselves as when facing new-aged warfare embroiled in psychological ops, and we can't see what's up or down, or left or right. Have no fear and encourage your neighbors to stand fearless in hard times beside you. Guard your heart and thoughts, change your perception for the better, and know God is with you and fights for you. Faith is never lacking when there's hope, love, unity, and self control. Our movement has these qualities but it isn't mentioned enough. Encourage one another and be a Joshua.
