Man charged in shooting death of SDPD officer testifies in court

A man who is facing the death penalty for fatally shooting a San Diego police officer four years ago took the stand Thursday and claims he thought the patrol car that was 'creeping up' behind him was a carload of gang members who were going to kill him.
