SOUTH AUSTRALIA, AU — Emu cross the road 2021.08.24
Why did the Emu cross the road? Nobody really knows. Maybe it was to get to the other side. It did have it's friends on the other side and there was a muddy puddle to drink from. What we do know here at Driving South Australia is that an Emu on or along side a road is extremely unpredictable and care should be taken when driving near them.
This Emu was lucky that it wasn't hit. I only slowed down to avoid spooking its mates at the puddle. I didn't even see this Emu until it was already on the road.
