With a height of 296.3 meters (972 feet), the Yokohama Landmark Tower is Japan's second tallest skyscraper and fourth tallest structure. It was the highest building in Japan until it was overtaken by Abeno Harukas in 2012. It's in Yokohama's Minato Mirai 21 district, very near to the Yokohama Museum of Art..

The building houses a five-star hotel on floors 49–70, with a total of 603 rooms. Shops, restaurants, clinics, and offices are located on the lower 48 stories. On the (hidden) 71st story, on opposite ends of the structure, there are two tuned mass dampers.
