20210901 Internet Troll - The Daily Summation

Maybe it makes sense, or is reasonable in YOUR mind, but in MINE, the idea of being an "Internet troll" (or anything similar ANYWHERE), is entirely repugnant.

Why would ANYONE think it reasonable to trash folks putting their hearts and minds (no matter how confused) out there for others to look at?

I may disagree with you, but that DOESN'T MEAN it's appropriate for me to tear you down (even if it's easy to do).

Disagreeing, discussing, even ARGUING I can make sense of.

Trolling (which is far too close to bullying for my liking), not so much.

It's EVEN WORSE when the "troll" attacks a person who's slow or disabled in some way.

What do YOU think? Is there some purpose or use for trolling and similar activity in your mind? If so, I'd like to hear what it might be.

I think I've made MY position clear in the current edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
