Study Guide

The three types of man are: natural, carnal, and spiritual.

Natural man is unredeemed and is controlled by the five senses. The natural man will not go to heaven.

The carnal man makes up the majority of the Body of Christ. He is still controlled by the five senses, which is a hinderance to walking by faith. The carnal man has the ability to grow spiritually but is unable to receive revelation knowledge and is useless to God’s plan. Receiving healing is difficult for the carnal man because they look to their senses and not the Word of God as a guide.

The spiritual man has his life changed by revelation knowledge of the Word of God and his prayer life changes. Our responsibility is to grow up spiritually.

Some people believe God knows their need and it is his responsibility to meet their need. These are carnal people. Spiritual people know that God has given us everything we need and it is our responsibility to take action.

You can’t be buddy-buddy with the natural man and expect God’s plan to work in your life.
