Stop Thinking Natural | Pastor Phillip H Jackson | Grace Christian Center

When we accept Jesus as our Savior we are redeemed and the Holy Spirit indwells our spirits. We have the Spirit in us. When we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we have the Spirit upon us. The dual working of the Holy Spirit is in us and upon us.

STUDY GUIDE

I Corinthians 2:6-14
Wisdom comes from our spirits. The Holy Spirit reveals to us the deep things of God.

Philippians 4:6
Our prayers need to be thankful.

Acts 1:8
The disciples were to wait for the Holy Spirit so the Holy Spirit would be in and upon them.

When we accept Jesus as our Savior we are redeemed and the Holy Spirit indwells our spirits. We have the Spirit in us. When we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we have the Spirit upon us. The dual working of the Holy Spirit is in us and upon us.

When we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we receive the person of the Holy Spirit until we are filled to overflowing. When we live a life of being continuously filled with the Holy Spirit and we understand that the Holy Spirit indwells our spirits, it is easier for us to be led by the Spirit and have a greater manifestation of His power in our lives.

Satanic forces and religion have worked together to convince people that they do not need the infilling of the Holy Spirit and have defeated many people.

Becoming a new creature sets you apart. You are not an “old sinner saved by grace.” If you don’t understand who you became you will have a hard time trusting God and thinking spiritually.

We have to learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit. This process takes some work.
When the Holy Spirit left the Holy of Holies everything changed. Now, He dwells in us and we have to acknowledge this in order to receive the benefits of being filled with the Spirit.
