Why Bitcoin can go to 350K and Ethereum 20K

In this video, Raoul Pal discloses the proportion of his current investment portfolio. He also shares his projection of crypto prices in 2021 and beyond.

Here is the highlight of the interview:

Asked about the proportion of his investment portfolio, Raoul replies that he's now invested 100% in crypto, comprising 55% Ethereum, 25% Bitcoin, and an equally weighted basket of a mix of DeFi protocols, layer-one interoperability, and other stuff. This is in contrast to November 2020 when his portfolio consisted of 25% gold and three-quarters crypto (85% Bitcoin and 15% Ethereum). Additionally, he has some specific bets of social tokens, metaverse, and other longer-term macro bets.

He however reveals that he may sell all of his Bitcoin if the ETH/BTC chart explodes higher. He adds that he spends time speaking to different institutions and sovereign wealth finds about adoption, and they recommend Bitcoin. He has also got many people into Bitcoin. So, it's a weird thing that it's suboptimal. However, he might not sell all his Bitcoin; he'll retain only about 5% of his portfolio for Bitcoin.

Regarding his 2021 price prediction, Raoul projects a $20,000 high for Ethereum by the end of the year and $250,000 to $400,000 for Bitcoin. He explains thus:

" All I did was just map over the Ethereum chart to the Bitcoin 2017 chart. They work perfectly, and it gives you $20,000. I've also mapped the Bitcoin price with its 2013 price, and they look similar. And there's a bunch of other ways to do it with love charts and regression analysis."

Asked about the possibility of a Bitcoin ETF, Raoul says it's probably coming in October.
Asked about what to expect in the nearest future, Raoul has this to say:

" We've got something I call the exponential agents coming into the middle of this. Over the next 10 years, we're already dealing with years of crypto exponential. So, crypto can go up about five times higher in the last three months of the year. The largest confluence of technologies are all into maturity, i.e AI, Robotics, Genetic Sciences, TVs, Green energy, and more.
