Artisan Desk Lamp - How To Part 3

The Artisan Desk Lamp line includes unique desk lamps handcrafted with resins. This is the third step in the How To series covering their creation. After allowing the resin to cure for at least 72 hours after the last pour of clear casting resin, remove the block from the mold. This can be done by loosening the resin block with light hits from a mallet on the side and bottom of the mold (if reusing mold) or cutting the mold off. Then add a 1" hole in the center of the block from the bottom. DO NOT drill all the way through the block. This hole allows more light to shine through the resin when fully assembled.
