Conduit 2 - Mike vs. Valkiria, Brennan, a SMAW and a Phase Rifle

I was digging through one of my external hard drives when I noticed that I had saved the raw footage from an old online match in Conduit 2. From what I can tell from the video details, this match apparently took place on September 12, 2012.

As I recall, I didn't post this footage because Valkiria was apparently bitching about my Carbonizer usage during this time (teehee). So I just hung onto the footage for my own entertainment. But anyway, enough time has passed since then, and it no longer matters.

This was a really interesting match because I was essentially on my own against two notorious shotgun rushers: Brennan and Valkiria. They were teaming up on me pretty good, so eventually I got annoyed and pulled out good old loadout # 1. Then I had myself some real fun. I was also up against a SMAW user (a hacker, from what I can tell) and a guy who was Phase Rifle sniping, so this was no cakewalk. I had to avoid being sniped and blown up while tackling two expert players.

Aside from the entertainment value, I'm posting this footage now to show off how smooth Conduit 2's online frame rate was. All of my Conduit 2 footage was rendered and posted in 30 fps because Youtube only supported that frame rate up until October of 2014. The Wii's online servers were shut down months earlier in May of 2014. Since I didn't keep about 99% of my raw footage, I couldn't post my old matches in their native frame rates. But I can do so with this match.

As you can see, this footage is much smoother than all of the prior matches I posted from this game. This is because Conduit 2 exceeded 30 fps in the online mode, although it was subject to massive frame rate fluctuations, similar to multiplayer Nintendo 64 games. But even so, it's not too bad, wouldn't you say?

I'm using a Wii Remote and nunchuck with Motion Plus.
