Kartier told Truly: “It's really hard to date with a disability. I find that a lot of people just don't see me as a sexual being, which I don't see where that stems from. I feel like I've been on all the dating apps, none of them have been successful. I think the fact that I'm gay as well makes the dating pool a lot smaller.” Kartier is nervous and excited to find out who her blind date is and hopes they have a lot in common. “If we have the same sort of hobbies and interests that would be really cool. I tend to go with someone who's quite confident, quite bold and I love someone who has tattoos.” Will Kartier meet the girl of her dreams? “I haven't set any expectations.
