This new analysis collected data from thousands of patients in Israel’s Maccabi Healthcare Service database included data through August, 14th, 2021. (The Kentucky resident study period was just May and June of 2021.)

That is to say, this new analysis by scientists in Israel 🇮🇱 involved cases infected by the delta variant, which only comprised at most 18% of US cases during the Kentucky resident tracking period.
