Bugs, Massive Millipede the length of my hand

Rumble/Animals, This bug crawled bright onto my buddies porch during a BBQ. How is this not a dinosaur? Why did I give this creature access to major arteries? Why is this creature not on a terrorist watch list? He ended up crashing our barbecue, then just strolling off. Amazing critter though!
