Is TV n social media brainwashing for apathy and division?

Simple question about individuals supporting each other less and less, except for power of suggestion from TV and social media globalist propaganda as time goes on? Ppl in their homes more on these electronic devices due to virus shutdowns and fear has doubled this apathy and heightened division of common people... Sharing and messaging parameters and censorship makes it impossible for an individual request for support to reach significant other people... I want you to refute or support this concept. Is it mind control/brainwashing, or people caring and supporting each other less and less all on their own w/o the current propaganda?
