God is good all the time 295: Recognizing the Devil is NOT glorifying the Devil

It has come to light that there are those that think you must not mention the devil at all because then you are glorifying him. That is not the case at all...it is sort of a Harry Potterish way of looking at things. If there was any sense that to mention someone by name was a way to glorify them then yes it would be easy to stay away from the devil...BUT we know that is not possible. But when we mention the name as we RECOGNIZE the things that he has done then we are drawing attention to his schemes...unless we are trying to draw attention to him so that there is glory given to him. As believers of course that is false, we bring him to light so that he may run from the light because he is a being of darkness and wants us to be there as well.
