It is important to know these home buying tips 2021 before shopping new construction or walking into a model home and sitting down with a home builder's representative. Knowledge is power when negotiating for a new build. Home building is very different from buying a resale home.

1:09 Number 1. I would suggest that you do some research on the builder and the neighborhood.

4:35 Number 2. I would say, "Get a Real Estate Agent". When you have a real estate agent working for you, they go to bat for you.

7:26 Number 3. I think you need to understand that the signs outside the builders homes that say "mid-100s to mid-300s" are not what your house is going to cost.
