"Hey! Certified Hydro Bro here - Did you know only one percent of the water in the world is drinkable fresh water? and 90% of that is frozen in polar ice caps. One of these is a glacier bigger than the continental United States. Only 0.013 percent of the world's water is in freshwater lakes. The water you drink and the water inside your body, has existed for millions of years. Water is constantly being used and recycled every second of every day. The water that's in your glass could have been the same water that dinosaurs were drinking, the same water Julius Caesar and Napoleon Bonaparte drank. Some scientists even believed that the water on earth could be older than the sun, which leads to the next point - water is alien and foreign, it's not from this world. All of the water on earth was brought here by asteroids and meteorites. The average American uses 16 gallons of water each time they shower. 785 million or 1 in 9 people do not have access to safe drinking water. Nearly 1 million people die every year due to water sanitation issues. One gallon of bottled water takes five to 11 gallons to produce that same bottle and water. Water is a scarce resource, let's do our best to not waste any of it. Things like taking shorter showers, turning off the faucet while brushing or even just running a full load in the dishwasher can make a big difference. So let's raise a glass and hydrate mate, but nothing excessive of course. Subscribe and learn all about water and how to get the best water on the planet!"
