"Hey! Certified Hydro Bro here.. Did you know that 71% of the earth is covered by water? or that the human body is about 60% water? From us humans to plants and animals and the sky, everything on this planet needs water. Water is one of the single most important things in life. We literally need it to live. It's recommended we drink 11 to 15 cups of water but of course this is dependent on our height, weight and lifestyle. But what would happen if we were to stop drinking water? or not drink enough? Number one, first your urine would start to darken meaning your body is trying to conserve fluids, your brain would tell your kidneys that they need to give water to your blood rather than putting it into urine. Two, your brain would actually physically shrink - 75% of our brain is made up of water and not having enough water will make it shrink, making your brain work harder to do simple tasks - this is the opposite of big brain time. Three, because your brain is working so hard and not getting any water, it would give you these splitting headaches. Four, your mood would drop making it harder for you to focus, decreasing your energy levels, giving you memory loss and uh, ah, shoot why can't I remember what's next - oh yeah, it makes you highly irritable. Five, water is used as a lubricant for your joints and spinal cord - without water your joints and bones would hurt as they painfully grind against each other. Six, your body starts to have a hard time regulating its temperature - not drinking enough water would cause a dangerous increase in temperature and drop in blood pressure, not really what they meant when they said 'drop it like it's hot.' Seven, the digestive system would slow down incredibly making it difficult to eat and break down food. Eight, not drinking enough water can lead to something called hypovolemic shock, a condition in which your body doesn't have enough blood for the heart to pump, this could lead to multiple organ failures. Nine, lastly the average human can live three to seven days without water, after that your brain and other parts of your body would eventually fail and shut down - you feel the pain of thirst, your mouth dries up, you have trouble swallowing, you feel nauseated, your muscles spasm and you inevitably suffer a slow, but painful death. There's a simple solution to fix all of these, just drink water. Drink water, not only can it prevent all of these horrible things but it will also lower your chance of stroke, diabetes and heart disease. So, here's to living a healthier life - raise the glass and hydrate mate. Subscribe and learn all about water and how to get the best water on the planet!"
