Solo Skiff fishing the Laguna Madre South Padre Island

GET UP, GET OUT, & DO SOMETHING! is our motto! So I got tired of waiting for winds to die down and/or wait for a fellow Solo Skiff owner to accompany me. I asked Edgar Valles, an experienced Solo Skiffer, for advice on where to launch when winds were strong. He suggested that I use the public boat West Polaris boat ramp on the bayside of SPI. I took my chances doing this all on my own and I'm glad I did!
