Rainy Day Roos
10
There are amazing creatures great and small in Australia. The Kangaroo (the Roo) is one of my favorites. They live in herds called 'mobs' and enjoy eating green tender shoots and grasses....especially after it's been raining.
Amazingly, female roos carry their young (a Joey) in pouches for over 200 days before the joey leaves its' mother pouch for the last time.
These particular roos live on the outskirts of Canberra, Australia's capital city. They were having a feed during a light shower of rain.
I captured this stunning video using a DJI Mini 2 drone.
