Barbie and Ken Carson's Summer Place

The is the GRAND FINALE of my summer videos for 2021. Barbie and Ken are now married and the Carson family are having their annual summer family reunion in the backyard, which is includes a catering team and a full band. Many family members join the party as well as friends and neighbors. Several dolls included both vintage and modern are Barbies, Kens, G.I. Joes and others. This video was created over a course of two years and some of my most intense and detailed work in crafting and recording. I have performed and recorded my own versions of "Theme from A Summer Place", as well as the classic song from George Gershwin, "Summertime." This video is a full 21minutes of a look back of when life was simple and fun with family and friends who gathered in their own homes for parties and events in summers of times past. In many ways, this is a true reflection of my own life as a child growing up in the 1960's. As a young teen, I remember watching a yellow corvette drive into the court where I lived to pick up the older teenage girl across the street. I was in awe of her and her boyfriend. From that time on, I always wanted a yellow car. Hope you enjoy this video, as much as the fun and enjoyment I had in making it.
