‘The Taliban has not changed’ – Afghan cook in Italy with his heart in Kabul

The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan sent ‘shockwaves’ through the country’s ‘expat’ communities around the world. Mohamed Shapoor, an Afghan who fought in the army against the the militant group and now works as a cook in Italy, says members of his family who remain in Afghanistan are now ‘terrified’ at the prospect of a Taliban regime.
