This short video is packed full of tremendous learning potential. We must study real-life defensive gun use to ensure that our firearm training mimics real-life situations. This clip was sent in by a viewer, I think it may have occurred in Ontario.

We see the officer keeping a safety gap between himself and the knife-wielding attacker. We see the officer shooting on the move. The officer ends up going hand to hand after falling and dropping his firearm.

Learning to shoot on the move could be a life-saving skill, so too could learning to shoot from the ground.
