It's isn't FlamingoFriday without a flamboyance feed!

The IUCN Red List has listed Chilean flamingos as “Near Threatened” as a precaution. Populations are declining at a moderate rate due to egg-harvesting, hunting, and the disturbance and degradation of the species’ habitat.
What can you do to help these beautiful birds and other animals that rely on waterways? Use biodegradable detergent! When standard detergents run off into lakes and streams, they encourage rapid insect and algae growth which can have a negative impact on native species. By using biodegradable detergent, you are helping to keep waterways clean and healthy for the animals that call them home.
Alt text: Amazing keeper Natalie walks to the edge of the flamingo pond, carrying a bucket of food that she tosses into the water. As she approaches, the flamingos look around and soon flamingo frenzy to the nutrients floating around. The bright pink birds stick their heads in the water to filter feed, bringing their heads up to bicker with any other birds who have infringed upon their personal space. Don't bother them, their eating... As the flamboyance feasts, two ducks waddle on to the screen, this is what they came for! Food!
