CHP Helicopter Rescue of Family of 6 From Oat Hill Mine Trail

Yesterday, just before 7pm, H-30 was requested by Napa County Sheriff's Office to a rescue in the area of the Oat Hill Mine Trail and Palisades Trail for 4 young juveniles and 2 adults suffering from heat exhaustion and dehydration. H-30 responded to the scene and located the parties.

The crew landed nearby and reconfigured for a hoist. All 6 parties were hoisted from the trail and transported to medical personnel waiting at Logvy Community Park in the city of Calistoga for treatment.
