The lyrics, of course, were written by myself. I wrote this ages ago but never had (or even thought of getting) anyone to sing it, until I discovered talented people on Fiverr to sing them for me. Turns out with the lockdowns and restrictions that this would be just as relevant, if not more relevant today than when I wrote it!
I was really impressed by everyone involved in this, totally exceeded my expectations on quality. Initially I wanted to find someone to mimic that actual portal video, which would've been really cool, but I much prefer the kinetic typography style, allowed for more use of effects and humour.
Thanks so much to everyone that worked on this, I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out!

Still Awake – a ‘portal’ into the mind of an insomniac
I’m really tired.
I’ve run out of hope here,
Have not slept
It’s hard to overstate my full exhaustion
Amateur science *
They just do what they must to no effect
For the good of all of those,
Except the ones who have dozed.

I’m not even angry
I’m being so sincere right now
Even though I seem a little grumpy

My eyes they burn, it is because
I’m online chatting with you

If I’m here all the time
