Old College Sprint Triathlon | Dallas Athletes Racing | Denton, TX

In my first race back from the debacle at the National Championship in Milwaukee, I returned to the racing scene in Denton, TX at the Old College Sprint Triathlon put on by Dallas Athletes Racing

The swim was very interesting because it was done in a lazy river. It added an extra challenge of twists and turns in tight spaces as you made your way around the river

At the end, you'll notice the announcer shout that he wants to see my best 40 time. They were timing everyone's 40 yd dash times and made that a little competition (I came in 30th out of 307, but I'd rather take the 9 overall ;-) )

I'll be working on my flying mounts/dismounts and my overall endurance, but I'm happy with the results so far and it feels good to be back racing in Texas!
