Food Shortages in a Time of Surplus

In 2020 we were told of a food surplus world wide yet millions were starving to death, but no one explained how it was possible. No one mentioned all the farm closures, particularly in the U.S. and Canada. No one broached the subject of contaminated beef, pork, and chicken, or that it was still being supplied from China well past its spoilage date, or that it was allegedly purchased and repurposed by McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and KFC (because they do chicken right!). Of course McDonalds has allegedly been using diseased cattle for your quarter pounders for decades. Did you hear the one about the bacteria-eating virus that's sprayed on all that rotten, gangrenous meat from China? Gotta get rid of all that dangerous bacteria, but how do they get rid of the virus? Getting hungry? Next step, diet food with flesh-eating viruses. No more deal-a-meal.
