Baobab Alley, Madagascar.
The baobab is an unusual giant tree that grows in the dry savannahs of tropical Africa. Baobab bark is used to make strong fiber. Young leaves are added to salads and dried leaves are used as spices. Pollen is used to make glue. The flesh of baobab fruits is rich in vitamins C and B, and is comparable in nutritional value to veal. The seeds are edible in raw form, and roasted seeds are used to make a coffee substitute. In general, every part of this amazing tree has its uses.
