Union Pacific Big Boy pulling out of Topeka in August, 2021, on a 100 degree sunny day. Video taken by Lee Hartman for Metro Voice. Top speed for this steam engine was listed as 80MPH, but UP guy on hand said realistically top speed is usually equal to the height of the wheels, which in this case is 68 inches.
