Vs Let's Play Super Mario Bros 2, the United States version. We compare the NES release with the Super NES release found on Super Mario All-Stars. Designed by a team lead by Shigeru Miyamoto, the game was originally built as a prototype Mario game until developed and released in Japan as Doki Doki Panic, with nothing to do with Mario and Luigi. It was later modified and rereleased in the US as Super Mario Bros 2, then later rereleased in Japan as Super Mario USA.
