Putting in the floor of our Greenhouse & Aviary
In this video, I am starting the project to finish the 2nd half of our greenhouse and aviary build. We've had some struggles with rodents, weasels and other critters getting into our greenhouse and killing some of our birds. I put in half the floor earlier and this video introduces the flooring project and how I put in pavers for the floor of the greenhouse, which will also house our aviary.
For the flooring, I dug it down, then put layers of gravel, concrete, mortar and lastly, the pavers. The floor is sloped slightly toward the outside edges where I have run a drainage channel and tubes to permit draining out of the greenhouse.
