RACHAEL L. McINTOSH, former Defense Sector Marketing Professional Turned Full Time Author / Artist
Rachael McIntosh is an Elected Artist Member of the Norwich Arts Council, a Yale Art School Fellowship nominee as well as Fulbright Grant nominee (as selected by MassArt), and has received many scholarships, grants, and awards. Her most recent juried shows include the Fidelity Investments Invitational at the Providence Art Club, Mystic Art Association, Yale University, the Norwich Arts Council Gallery, and the Newport Art Museum.
Rachael is currently writing novels based upon her real life experiences working for a major US Defense Contractor and her involvement with a US Presidential Campaign. Books one, two, and three of the SECURITY THROUGH ABSURDITY hit #1 on Goodreads Best New Series list and have been included on high school summer reading lists in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Her most recent novel in the series, Book Four: The Peanut Butter Pipeline, was released earlier this year. Rachael emerged in 2021 as a politically unaffiliated candidate for Lieutenant Governor. Previously, she had been appointed to the Rhode Island Geoengineering Study Commission where she researched and produced a body of evidence regarding the government’s formerly Top Secret activity of weather modification. Her work cataloguing and verifying her findings influenced the creation of The Rhode Island Geoengineering Act which is known internationally as a first-of-its-kind type of legislation.
