It appears that the Taliban is holding all the cards with the deployment of more troops into Kabul to safely evacuate civilian personnel left behind by the Biden administration--A really stupid move. However, telegraphing the withdrawal and not equipping the Afghan government to defend itself and the people was also really stupid...
